Bao

This game (pronounced bou) is played on a wooden board using stones or plant seeds. It is known by different names in different countries. You can even buy versions of it in North America.

Soccer

This sport is popular all over Africa, but it’s called “football." Even kids who can’t afford a proper ball will find a substitute—like an old plastic bottle—to kick around for a friendly game.
